Molding

Kleiss Gears develops the best process possible to reduce your
molding costs while preserving gear accuracy and repeatability. 
We use CNC controlled presses, automated material and part
handling, and real-time process regulation. We mold parts smaller
 than 1 cubic centimeter and up to 22 cm (8 inches) in diameter.

Micromolding

Manufacturing truly micro parts requires rethinking the manufacturing
process. Dust and even air currents can complicate the manufacturing
 and inspection process when you work with parts under 1 cm.

Kleiss Gears selected the Battenfeld Microsystem 50 (pictured) for its modular production cell technology. It has injection molding, part handling, inspection and packaging all within clean-room conditions. The Microsystem molds gears with almost no material waste and significantly lower energy consumption compared to traditional injection molding machines - savings that we can pass on to our customers.
